Cell phone's broke...anyone notice? Okay so we're finally moved in to the apartment. Looks great. Going to Baltimore in 2 weeks. Missing Norma Jean and Misery Signals, but ooooh well. I love planes. Nervous as fuck about meeting his parents.
Walked into the dorm to check the email and was bombarded with bong smoke and cheesy grins. Oh yea I forgot...how could I. I stopped celebrating 4/20 in 11th grade. haha.
Work Work Work.

Well I'm hoping that all of the paperwork for the apartment will be settled by the end of this week. The sooner, the better. It turns out that the residential policy requires that not all of the tenants of an apartment are full-time students, so I'm not exactly sure where we are going to stand come August. Either Christian will be a permanent roomate, or I'll be taking 9 hours Fall semester. Which, in all honesty, wouldn't bother me all too much. God knows I haven't been doing that well juggling a 12 hour schedule anyways.
This weekend was long. Watched the boys get together and see what they could come up with. Christian was spitting blood last time he practiced, guess his throat is getting better. Dina and I would get on the instruments when they took smoke breaks. I swear, one day, I will be a drummer. For now, it's all Cody.
I am really looking forward to going home next weekend. I said this before, and the offer still stands. The parents are going out of town...if you want, come down and hang out. Christian and Kenny are coming down on Friday I think..I'm leaving Wednesday night. Saturday Andi comes down, and Sunday I load up my bed and my desk. It's going to be weird.

Ben Folds(live): Army |

Well me and Andi found a place off of Sunbeam yesterday, brand new apartments called Thomas Chase. I LOVE IT. We will be the first residents to live there...and we are going to sign everything next week some time. We figured out all of the math and such, and the costs of water/electricity/internet/renting washer plus rent is going to be 475 a month. I'm so incredibly excited.
Yesterday was one month for me and the boy. Feels like a year. <3
I also was informed that my best friend, my other half, Kristen, is "talking to" my ex John. WEIRD. He was my first. First everything. First anything. She consoled me when he was treating me like shit, and always made fun of me when I asked random people what he was up to months after our break. I guess I just never imagined she would step over one of those lines. It's okay, I want her to be happy, no matter what. I had a dream last week that I yelled at her and told her how much it hurt me. We had talked about it that night, and I told her that it was okay, that I was glad she had found someone that she really liked.
"See, I knew you would be okay with it."
I dunno....weird, weird....weird.

this is ashley, welcome home. thanks for the phone tag, and the hellos. (or lack thereof)
Last night I forgot a pixel-face, so seeing it in real life didn't awake any memories. sorry dood. show was fun though. same 'not seen enough' faces. love you anyways though. 12 down the drain, 7 down the hatch. my ears sound like seashells.
Christian, Kenny, and I went to IHOP early yesterday afternoon for a great easily-cooked-at-home meal of pancakes and eggs.(and hashbrowns, toast, and lotsa coffee) Then we went to see Dawn of the Dead. Whatever, I'm tired of caring about re-done horror. It was mediocre, just like every other re-do. There was some witty banter, and I appreciated that. The gore wasn't too bad either. There are about 6 other movies that are out(/coming out in the next few weeks or so)that I would really like to see. I need to work more.
When I came home this weekend I went shopping. for clothes. I accessorized in China Town, and came back to a great sale at Express. I also got into a car accident leaving the mall.* $80 ticket and thank hay-zeus I found my license. I will be going down to the the county clerk to show her I do indeed have my very own cheesy smile laminate. God, I told the lady to come into the Loop and I'de give her free food. Wow. I am not sure if I will be going home this weekend, it looks like the wallet(new, adorable) is getting thinner, and I still owe my mom 170. Oh yea, and I need a shitload of money for the apartment I will get soon. No need to cross my fingers anymore though, looks like the parents are giving in.
I got some stars on my foot. I was bored and Christian wasn't busy. I watched Old School while Jeremy read the subtitles in French(?). I laughed and clenched my fists.
NYC -my feet smell worse in the big apple(but at least now one is cute) -I loooved the Upright Citizens Brigade show, I snatched a poster off the wall -yes, I got caught in the subway train doors, that shit hurt. I'm glad I didn't turn around to see the people in the car staring at me. -"you want a grain bane?!" -Brendon, stop driving like a maniac..this is Jax, and there are speed limits and popos who care. -my room was 6'by 4' and I trashed it. -I kept singing the lyrics to Snow from the 1950s classic White Christmas, I wish the boys had known what I was singing, cause it would have been lovely in harmony. -I saw a bum in the train station pouring instant creamer(the powdered kind)into his mouth, and a latino with a fake dance parter, complete with hand pockets for it's ass so it looked as if she was grinding her hips. The feet of her were attached to his shoes. All in all that was disturbing as fuck. But at least he was a good dancer. -I ate latkes, cheesecake, and pickles at Carnegie Deli. -I puked in Brooklyn.*
other shit -anybody going to, uh, bunnyfest(...)in Augusta?? THE RED CHORD. 'nuff said. let's go! -Christian and I are going to Baltimore in May. I get nervous just thinking about it. -I picked him up at the airport Friday night, and he picked me up when he hugged me. I can't say anything else. If you could see me, you would know. -I miss my mother and kitties terribly. Although, I have been giving a lot of love to Sugar, this adorable cat that lives next door to Kenny and Matt. Her owners let her outside at night and she always meows hello and struts up to the two of us as we walk to the door. I often sit outside with her, she is so innocently loving. But still, there is a Howie void. -I love cats. I am a loser. -I wish some of my friends back home would call me...hell..I wish my friends in Jax would too
*make sure you throw away all white lighters. bad luck Bics.

I woke up this morning so fed up with my roots that I woke Christian up and insisted he dye my hair. He did a damn good job, I must say. Now if I can get a hold of Sammy sometime this week, all will be good.
I've been tossing the idea around with my parents of me staying up here for summer, even though I won't be going to school. I need to start making some real money. I went to look at an apartment with Andi last week, and it wasn't in tip-top shape, but it WAS 750 a month..including cable and water. Sooo..we'll see. I think my mom is just upset that I won't be living at home.
I just want spring break to be here, and then summer. I won't be going home for a few more weeks, but when I do it will definetly be worth it. -Christian is planning on going to the tattoo convention in Tampa anyway, so he will have a place to stay other than my house. Mom is actually looking forward to meeting him...awesome. -Thursday the 25th: An Albatross, the everyothers, shed for you, Auto! Automatic! -Friday: convention/"this is my hometown...these are my friends" -Saturday: Bleeding Through, Himsa, Take These Eyes, (?) -Sunday: Darkest Hour, Thrice, Poison the Well, Moments in Grace -All of this will be funded by my awesome paycheck awaiting me when we get back.(I preceded to ask for more hours AFTER the pay period for my NYC paycheck had ended)
April 14th I have to go home to take care of the kitties for the weekend(thurs-mon) while my parents go to Vegas(surprise, surprise). I think it would be a really great idea if some kids came to Clearwater to take a break from Jax, open house and open beds..fun stuff. Anyone interested?? If I haven't been seeing enough of you lately..THIS goes out to YOU!

I'm sitting around waiting for AAA to come and unlock my car. Again. 2 days in a row. . . . . . . .
I was at Publix last time, and an hour late for work. This time I was on campus, and managed to get a ride to work and back to Inksmith to meet up with the boy.
I feel like I have a mullet. A yep-nope. My hair sucks. Someone, anyone, please cut my hair!!!! I can't go to NYC looking this haggard, damnit. AND My roots are atrocious.
I dropped a class. Mandi...guess which one!!
I think I'm going to stop LJ until I have something interesting to say. Anyone who cares about how I'm doing can pick up the phone. It's easier than reading this.

It's amazing the hindsight bias that comes around after you meet someone who is the opposite of an old flame.(i.e. we can talk for hours about anything)I hope it works.
Some would say that I'm moving too fast, but that's the only way I know how.

I have a cute little pink stud in my nose, went yesterday with Woody and Stefanie to inksmith. Ironically enough, the skinscope in PRICK said that the 7th was going to be the day for me to get a new piercing.
Last night was As Fuel to Flame and Armchair...went home right after the guys played to get some sleep. Woke up early to find my roomate and two of her friends drinking wine on the floor over by the door. It was 9:30am.
Tonight back to RnR for Dorsia and Letters Organize. But not before I finish this stupid fucking English paper.
Tomorrow night...Justin and the Locust. I get butterflies when I talk to him...ahhhhhh. Dork!
As for everything else...I love all of my friends sooo much. I think Ash will be stickin around for awhile...

Last night was lovely...I know it's awful to have crushes on band members...but whatever, Justin is amazing. I haven't had conversation like that with a guy in a looong time. No offense to anyone. I was soo close to going down to St. Pete to see them again, but I came to the conclusion that my car and wallet just can't handle it. I turned around and reluctantly called him to say I had a change of mind. Bummer!
Tonight, St. Augustine: Engine Down.
Tomorrow: needles and holes. YAY!
Monday: Over to Tally to see The Locust! I can't fucking wait.

I told my mom that I was either getting my nose or lip pierced, and she preceded to tell me that if I had my nose done, I would lose my sense of smell and eventually have to have surgery to correct the damage done to my nasal cavities. She also said she would stop paying for college, not give me any money for NYC, and I would never get a job in the 'real world.' I couldn't stop laughing.
I can't wait for the weekend. I'm going to buy things for me!!! Imagine that shit!
I got an email from Bobby today, and I wish sometimes that I could slap some sense into him. There was so much miscommunication/no communication at all. We're so alike it makes me sick. Oh well.
In other news: -The Fine Arts building windows were so incredibly streaked they looked like they were cleaned with Crisco. -I also noted a sign for a sale of carnations. Apparently they changed the name of the holiday to Valentie's Day. Morons.
Someone buy me some paint. I want to flip over my TCM poster and see what happens. I miss my drawing classes soooo much. I sometimes think that I'm making the wrong decision by switching my major.

Last night I was walking out of class when I got a whiff of something that reminded me of lunch time at my elementary school. Something like a mix of bologna sandwiches and an ice cream cooler. The teacher used to make us walk in single file to the cafeteria.
-cutting was in full effect the whole way there. -it was also customary to see who could collect the most ticky-tac from all the laminated posters that hung on the walls on the way there(the white stuff was better than the yellow). You couldn't stop and slow the line, so it became somewhat of a technique. I had a crush on Matt DiBlasi...I gave him my small ball of ticky-tac. -We had this traffic light on the wall that detected the amount of noise that all of the kids made. If it went to yellow...tons of small hands shot the peace sign into the air,"Shhhhhhh!!!!" -If it went to red, and you were caught talking, one of the two haggard-ass lunch ladies that walked around would come give you a pink slip(very bad). Conversely, if you were being a good little tike then you would get a blue slip. -If you dropped your tray(it was uncool to buy your lunch, anyway)the whole cafeteria was there to scold you with a giant,"ooooooooooooooh!!!!"
I miss being a kid.
I've got to find something better to do with my time.
